Low pay - yearly raises around the 1-2% range even for exemplary performance Toxic workplace culture - little consideration for work/life balance. Have worked in departments where hourly employees are encouraged to work late and finish tasks, but punch out 'on time' because overtime was not allowed. Overworked staff - both clinical and non-clinical Depending on department - PTO for clinical staff very difficult to approve Upper management and middle management poor listeners when it comes to employee concerns Employee morale generally low

None that I can think of.

Cons

Pay and insurance are not competitive with the other major healthcare systems in the twin cities. Managers act like everything's a secret. No communication. You only matter if you're a manager or physician. Everyone else is treated like they're disposable.
