If you are in IT, run away!

Pros

Very few. Technical leadership and capability is non-existant. Save for a couple diamonds in the rough, vast majority of IT staff are either woefully under-qualified or completely checked out and dont care.

Cons

NO clear high level direction from Team leads and management level in IT. What direction that comes is fragmented and often contradictory. Daily Meeting hell. IT at Altagas' solution to ineffective meetings is to have more meetings. Unable to retain top talent - those that stay are, as previously mentioned, checked out or woefully under-qualified to be in their roles. Every project, regardless of attempts to plan properly, ends up as a crash project as it nears deadline where any planning goes out the window and things are hacked together.
