Poor culture, bad management
Pros
New graduate program gives you exposure to different areas in the company. Health benefits are okay, promised bonus structure was attractive, although the company has not followed through over the past year.
Cons
Managers consistently treat new grads like they're admin assistants. You role up to HR, and they have no idea what you're actually doing. Bonuses are grouped together with the other analysts in your year. No mechanism for feedback or evaluation. Job prospects coming out of the program are grim. New grad role is perfect for someone looking to be a glorified summer student. Despite what you're told, you have no say in deciding your future role, essentially a detached HR admin places you wherever they feel is best. If you're pursuing a cpa good luck accumulating usable hours. Many employees are waiting for commodities to pickup so they can leave.
