Pros

Leadership shows efforts to improve workflow and higher ups are accessible.

Cons

After working here for many months, you can tell this company favors someone of Hispanic, Spanish-speaking background versus someone who is actually competent in their role. There is a set culture in place. This company encourages education advancement but really it's aimed toward becoming an LVN or RN. Once you are an RN, there is no incentive or educational support to become an NP through the company. Everything is "case by case." Nurses week was celebrated with combining certified nursing assistants and medical assistants with the LVNs and RNs. All positions were provided the same company merchandise. This felt disrespectful and cheap considering the education and licensure LVNs and RNs have endured. Following nurses week, nursing assistants were given another appreciation email for nursing assistants week. Supervisors are constantly in meetings and inaccessible to help further assist. When they are available to assist, they are useless and not able to cover their subordinates' duties. Avoiding the real issues. Company offers prize money opportunities that are marketed as employee appreciation and engagement. Use that money to provide competitive rates to your employees instead.

Nepotism- Poor management and Pay

Pros

There are gems of people in the chaos of that place.

Cons

You need to know who's related to who to be successful at this job. The CEO is married to the CAO, their children are higher ups in the company in different departments. Bad managers won't be fired - regardless of what they do and HR involvement. Completely disorganized and incapable of creating a feasible work environment for employees that cater to patients and the community. They also refuse to pay market value for positions. There is art everywhere but they dont pay their employees. Be prepared to work late and around the clock, especially if youre an admin in higher management.
