Pros

If you are looking for a stepping stone to collect below market comp while waiting to get a clearance this might be the place for you.

Cons

Body shop, if you have any talent keep looking there's better pay better, benefits, and work out there. The second someone is at risk of being "non-billable" their position is in jeopardy. Management only has eyes for the next contract coming in the door and have blinders on to the retention issues and death march like environment around them. Solutions are always one meeting away.

Pros

The people, if you're not management, are great. Benefits are good. Keep your head down and you will be fine.

Cons

The management, with few exceptions, are ALWAYS looking out for themselves. If you have an aposing idea, opinion, or concern for how something should be developed, run, or organized, you WILL be railroaded into leaving the company. The upper management, VPs and above, are all apart of a clique. If you disrespect apposed, question, or challenge any of them, you will regret it. Not to mention there are program managers who have friends on their teams and will only look out for them. (I.e. play favorites). Management is afraid of losing control, paranoid of it, to an extent where they will actively work against other contracting companies who are their sub-contractors. They will also work against their own teams because of their fear of loosing control. Don't put in a 2 week notice, they will walk you out the same day or the next day, regardless if you're on good terms. They will also revoke all your government badges before you walk out the door, so might as well keep them and not give them to the FSO. They have some sort of deal with NASIC, where if you turn in your badges, they don't have to get you to NASIC for a debrief. Don't. Hand. In. Your. Badges. Make them lose that deal and have to do things the right way. Also, be prepared to be paid below market for your job. Also, they were going to be bought out, somehow they slipped through that, and didn't tell anyone.
