Pros

Work from home Cool leaf

Cons

The pay is terrible in the door. They treat you with very little respect. Every Team Lead and adjuster either doesn't think you'll be there long enough to respect or doesn't feel you'll be around long anyway so there's no respect given. You'll be talked down to, and treated as I'd your are dumb for asking questions. They no longer offer breaks, you have to request them and that depends on the que volume. So don't plan on having breaks when you need/deserve them. The ringer for the incoming calls is genuinely triggering for anyone who might have startling issues. I believe they make it like this to force you to answer the call and not linger. Your only option is to turn you volume almost all the way off and it's still very prominent. The time off/PTO was recently changed and you aren't guaranteed to get the time you request or accrue the time in a way that allows you to take any real time off. You are tethered to your desk and cannot travel and work also. There are many cons and very few pros to this company as a whole.

Pros

Before the merger, this was an awesome company to work for. Working for the department was challenging, fun and one of the best jobs I ever had.

Cons

Since carshield bought us out, everything turned upside down. You are either forced to quit or you will get fired. If you are a woman you will be told you need to smile more and will constantly be watched by people in the office. They log your badge times, threatened to check your location of where you clocked in (even if you’re salaried), got rid of 401k matching, will pay you under market value and act like they’re doing you a favor, etc.

Horrible leadership

Pros

Good coworkers. Remote work is good.

Cons

Leadership is horrible. Got a new supervisor after no leadership for months. Took said supervisor more than 3 months to meet with his team or even introduce himself. Pay raise freezes, and no 401k matching. Mentality here is fall in line or get out. Leadership will not listen to their front line people even when supervisors and leads have to clue about what they are doing or systems covered. Repeated mistakes and no traction in getting much needed help for reps which would be in the form of new hires. There’s a reason their home warrranty can’t touch the top 10 in the industry.

We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we are disheartened when we don’t meet expectations. Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We will use the feedback to make us better and to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
