• Leadership changes led to significant challenges. When territories were moved under a VP who was highly controlling and micromanaged, the supportive culture quickly declined. • The addition of walk and tour directors undermined the role of the executive director, causing confusion and overreach at every turn. This made it difficult to lead effectively or focus on the mission. • Aggressive increases in sponsorship pricing alienated key community partners and supporters, making it nearly impossible to remain competitive in the market.

They are not transparent about the roles, requirements, or the state of the market you're walking into. The onboarding was insufficient. The focus is NOT philanthropy, it's all about money and not the mission. It's like working for a corporation where the expectation is cold calls to makeup for the lack of consistent sponsors and longtime supporters. There's a reason that their donors are mostly lapsed and don't want to talk to staff and it has everything to do with the way they do business. The goals set for staff are unattainable, especially with their lack of donor retention. Managers pass their inability to reach goals off on staff to take the fall for them. If you value your reputation, you love fundraising for mission based organizations, and donors are more important to you than unreasonable goals DO NOT WORK FOR THE ADA!
