Pros

Vacation and Sick Time benefits

Cons

The company took away most of the reasons to work for a large company, the medical benefits are non-existent. The Management is exempt from rules and only applies them to those who they choose.

Pros

Great Company to work for. Corporate, but not too corporate. Has the right checks and balances in place to create a great work place. Felt like family. The cabinetry and the foot print in the market is great.

Cons

The pay scale/structure. If you do not negotiate a good salary at the time of hire, it is very hard to increase your pay by the way they structure it. The company is very profitable, the employees should feel profitable too.

Pros

American Woodmark has kept to their company culture throughout my entire onboarding process and even into the beginning of my career. Many companies will sell you one story during your interview process, but then show something radically different once you actually start working for them. This company truly shows their CITE principles of Customer service, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence during the onboarding process. The CEO took time out of his day multiple times during our initial training week to come and talk to us.

Cons

The interview process took quite some time. But I believe they do this so they can get the right employee for the job instead of trying to fit employees into places where they don't belong.
