cannot balance home life with this job, never know how many OT hours you will work until middle of shift....always changing policies, especially call off and pto time...if you question anything you get a target on your back....they HATE their employees.........safety is spoken of, but NEVER followed through....the roofs leaks in our warehouse and causes ice spots everywhere.....maintenance dept is not qualified and never fixes anything or does duct tape fixes.....upper management is greedy and selfish...force employees with more seniority to do things the new butt kissers don't have too....some supervisors are ok and work with you, others are complete idiots and butt kissers

I've only been here for a couple of months, but I have a lot of cons. First, the work area where I am situated is right in front of the copier (Legal, 5th FL, corporate office, ATL, GA). Therefore, it is noisy when the printer is being used, people are in and out and talk REALLY LOUD as if I am not there. If I am taking a conf. call or trying to concentrate, it makes for a hard time. I've asked for a better spot, but no results yet. Secondly, I wasn't aware until my orientation day that the PTO is only 2 weeks, to include vacation AND sick time/personal time. I would expect that if PTO vs Vacation/sick time, the company would provide 15 days (3 weeks) at a minimum. There is not work life balance when an employee cant use at least one full week of vacation (deducting sick time, dr. appts, etc, there's not much left). Lastly, they need to increase the number of company holidays. For ex, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, MLK (which is a national holiday so not sure why we aren't observing it). Offering the option to tele-commute once a week would also help. Most progressive companies allow this and it enhances employee moral. Most employees I've talked to also share my sentiments.
