      Pros

      -lots of freedom and independence -friendly and helpful bosses and coaches -fun to work with the kids -lesson plans are already made

      Cons

      -the pay is very low -doesn’t provide as many future career opportunities as I had thought -learning the lesson plans can be stressful and time consuming

      Fun to work with kids, but lots of useless work with Americorps

      Pros

      Working with the kids and teaching lessons to them and overseeing their progress in school.

      Cons

      The pay is poor, they make you watch a lot of useless videos and do a lot of projects unrelated to your job, they dont give you enough time to prepare for the lessons in the hours they offer and expect you to tutor more kinds than your time allows.
