      Great experience but not a way to pay the bills

      Pros

      Great experience and I loved working with the kids.

      Cons

      While experience was valuable, the living stipend was low. This is not a position you get to pay your bills. I didn't agree with a few of the goals they had for me to complete in addition to tutoring the students. I would have preferred to just focus on tutoring the kids. Hours were difficult to limit to part-time.

      Pros

      The interactions with the students, fellow tutors and staff are great and rewarding and well worth the effort, giving a semi-retired professional a great and recommended experience.

      Cons

      The administrative hassles and constant badgering about hours, even though I am covering bases well is disgusting! So, there are some administrative headaches to tolerate, unnecessarily!
