Pros
Healthcare coverage is not too expensive and offers low deductibles and/or co-pays Government holidays are paid days off so you don't have to burn vacation time
Cons
Geographically separated from management, minimal discussions with leadership and no real support, clients lack of trust in ability to complete job, job not as advertised, no understanding and knowledge of job functions and role, 401k company match low, salary low for the area, management does not have clear vision and knowledge of local job market, no real networking and career advancement outside of DC area, paid vacation time is also below average
