Appreciate the shout out on the people here, the product itself, the unlimited PTO, the quality of managers, the autonomy provided and the shout on the huge TAM we're addressing right now! Also, here you on the work ethic required to do well here and also the time zone balancing that we're constantly trying to optimise from and learn from other companies around as it relates to being a global remote company. Thanks so much for your review and for being a leader in our Engineering team. Appreciate the positive call out on the flexibility remote working allows and the the learning culture. Also, thank you for your call out on it being challenging at times to configure your schedules when we ask for flexibility across time zones to converse with colleagues around the world. Certainly something we're doing our best to optimise for going forward and would very much welcome any more ideas or feedback on how we can improve there, feel free to reach out and ping me, i'd be very happy to discuss further, Sincerely, Declan

Pros

Apollo just raised $100 million at a $1.6 billion valuation, and the opportunity to work at such a company has been incredible. During my year and a half here, my experience has been very positive. What I love about Apollo is that you can fully own the initiatives you're working on. I was able to start a department from scratch, which was challenging but extremely rewarding. We have very talented people on the team; you can learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry. You get to work fully remotely, and we do get a budget so that you can do city meet-ups, as well as there has been a company offsite so that everyone can meet in person. Apollo strongly encourages continuous learning, providing a dedicated budget for courses, workshops, conferences, and community memberships related to your role. Last but not least, the product truly is world-class. I always talk to customers, and having customers who want to advocate for your company makes you proud.

Cons

Apollo has a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift, which is only for some. You need to be flexible and willing to adapt. Other than that, I have seen a high turnover rate in some teams, which is always hard to see people go.

Thanks so much for your comprehensive review and for being part of our growing Partnerships team! There is a lot to unpack in your review! It's great to hear your having such a wonderful experience at Apollo and appreciate the call out on autonomy, remote working, the talent of the team around you and the drive to ensure everyone is learning and growing here. Also, duly noted your call out on the fast-paced environment, and the shifting priorities that can sometimes happen in here as the company pivots its strategies to react to opportunities ahead of it or challenges that it needs to tackle. I also want to acknowledge the call out on high turnover rates, which is something we're working on and are focused on to ensure we create a world class employee experience for all. I'll make sure to pass on your concerns on that to our leadership and People teams. -Declan
