The work is very interesting. The processes are good using Scrum, and the company strives to provide sufficient lead time for projects. Communication is good, and transparency is evident at all levels. There is plenty of opportunity to interact with other engineers, including the principal engineers. It's also hard to beat fully remote.

I think a lot of people don't appreciate that good business decisions aren't necessarily obvious from an engineer's perspective. If in doubt ask questions! I have found Martin (our CEO) extremely receptive to questions. Further, I have found him to be an incredible businessman. He knows what he is doing even if he doesn't explain everything he is thinking as he goes. But again - ask him and he will be transparent about the reasons behind his decisions and priorities. The mission is honorable. There are a lot of people that don't understand how money works, how credit scores work, and how to improve their financial standing so they can accomplish personal goals.
