Incredible disappointment

Pros

There are some great, tenured people in the ATI sales organization, as well as other lines of business. Mike Lynch is an incredible leader. Most of the leaders ( I worked with)genuinely cared about the people who were on their teams. Truly, people first.

Cons

Executive leadership. There is not transparency in what is happening. There are games played versus having open conversations. I got to witness the games being played with executives at the C level, as well as my own supervisor. I did not understand why the game playing was necessary with strong leadership. I watched person after person walk away. If a C level leader cannot have a direct conversation with an executive on their team, maybe they are not quite ready to lead at the C level. "Inclusive" is a value at Ascend, but I did not get to experience that value in my position. Quite the opposite. I was left out of important meetings and communications, then judged for not having the information shared in those meetings. The communication (for me) was non-existent.

Pros

Some of the people are great and hard working.

Cons

At the ATI brand their is a lack of leadership. Lack of compassion. Lack of creativity. Lack of diversity. No employee development. Employees reviews are completed 6 months after the deadline. You can expect 1-2% raise per year. Salaries are under market. Turnover is incredibly high in the sales department. The sales reporting systems are incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, and archaic. You won’t know where you stand week to date, month to date, or year to date. Sales plans for the new year are delivered in March. The quarterly forecast meetings are where you will find out your numbers that you need to achieve for the quarter, these meetings take place 6 weeks into the quarter. You will present to executive leadership each quarter and get no actionable feedback at these meetings. By the time these meetings take place it’s often times too late to generate more sales to meet the quarterly goals. Sales plans are incredibly high and unrealistic. From what I’ve seen your plan will increase 14-20% year over year. Good luck.

Pros

Passionate and loyal employees with a desire to collaborate, do a good job, and make the company better.

Cons

Leadership is only interested in bringing in outside experience, not valuing existing experience. Information falls on deaf ears. It is unclear if they don't want to understand or just don't care what people have to say. I feel bad for anyone that joins the company at this time. Buyer beware.
