      Great place to learn for coops and starting engineers.

      Cons

      Worst place to develop a career. The heritage managers will never let you grow into their jobs. They continue to grow old in key leader roles and continue to limit company growth, especially the technology leadership.

      Ascend Cares Foundation - created to help Employees in need; Sponsorship of Habitat for Humanity, building numerous houses for those in need. Working with your fellow employees to do something like this is even better!!! and on going support of the Houston Food bank. This is a company of people who care, not to mention ongoing support of Genesys Works.

      Ascend has a management team that is aligned on the future growth of the company. The senior management team is finally all coming together and the results are now starting to show how this new Ascend Management Team is able to change and grow the business.

      Cons

      The company is still growing and making changes that reflect the direction of the business. With growth and changes requires hard decisions to be made.
