Pros

The only positives are that: you get commission for each insurance line you "save", call volume isn't super high, and the benefits are quite good.

Cons

Imagine 30-50% of callers complaining about our insurance being added without their consent by the store/phone sales rep and then having to ignore their frustrations and build a relationship to only PUSH insurance that has more holes than swiss cheese! That's your daily routine within the Sprint Saves (retention) department. The unauthorized addition of insurance is SO rampant and well-known that even Sprint reps sigh and joke about how often people call about the same thing! After being on the phone for 20-60+ minutes arguing with Sprint over a high bill, here we come in to make a final attempt to convince them to keep an insurance that only keeps going UP in price (with limited notice), while at the same time increasing already-high deductibles (i.e. $225 to replace an iPhone 6 - yes, really). In the end, I worked in this department for over a year and finally had ENOUGH of feeling morally reprehensible and - as a result - stressed on a daily basis. So if you value your mental health and career growth, take my advice and skip Sprint Saves - in fact, skip Asurion! Unless you enjoy selling worthless insurance while making them tons of money.

Pros

None I went through the whole hiring process received my equipment actually my first start date I didn’t get to start because my background didn’t clear in time so I had to start the next class. Well the Friday before I was suppose to start i get a call reminding me about my start day and time and congratulating me again. Also letting me know I will be receive a welcome package. Not even an hour later I get a voicemail and a email saying that I no longer can start that Monday because they no longer hire for the state I’m in for the customer service rep WFH position. I spoke to someone from corporate who told me they never hired from Michigan for WFH and I know he felt horrible but it doesn’t make up for the fact I’m out a job I was told was mine and all of this could of been prevented if when the job was posted just like every other business that hires remote workers they put what states they hire in for the position and which states they don’t. How do I get sent equipment, drug test, a background check, I9 all of this almost 2 months it went on and no one realized what state I was in smh.

Cons

Im so upset that this happened to me I have a family to take care of and this isn’t ok and needs to be made sure it don’t happen to ANYONE again. When posting available positions the state requirements need to be noted and your recruiters should be trained to catch a BIG mistake like this sooner.

Pros

Excellent unparalleled benefits. The ability to shift slide (which is unheard of) and pretty great pay.

Cons

The company recently took a turn from tech support and an elite form of customer service to a huge sales corporation that is numbers driven. I hate to say it but they are turning their employees into pushy car salesman with no care of a customers financial situation. It burns allot of us out. And i hate it because i use to adore this company.
