      Really Happy I Found this Company

      Pros

      I really love the environment here. The team I work with operates more like a family rather than simply coworkers. Really, the entire company operates in that manner. Everyone cares a lot about one another inside and outside of the workplace. I love our outings like our yearly family picnics and quarterly luncheons. Last, but most definitely not least, I enjoy coming to work here. I never thought I would find a place where I would get good pay and also be happy coming in to work. I can honestly say I have both here.

      Cons

      It is a small company which may be unappealing to some. While there are rewards being involved in a company that is growing, there are also some downfalls. For example, the company is rapidly growing that it can be difficult as times to keep up with all of the changes.

      We are glad you took the time to provide valuable feedback to the company. In regards to your cons, we agree that there may be challenges in an evolving organization and we consider this when adding new folks to our teams. It is always important to have our teammates understand the future goals and objectives and understand how their individual contributions contribute to those goals. While there may be times when everything is moving quickly, these dynamic, capable team members are great contributors. It is clear that you recognize what is happening around you and understand what your contributions mean. Even if at times we feel it is hard to keep up.

      Need more flexibility.

      Pros

      They have good Christmas Parties.

      Cons

      No flexibility as far as making up time, etc. Strictly by the clock with no compromise at all. Too rigorous for someone with a family when you can't take off. Not much vacation, most employees are hourly. So no give or take. Even the professional positions.

      We are sincerely thankful that you shared these thoughts. It does come as a surprise that you are having difficulty with flexibility as we have always promoted flexibility (Core Value) with our teams and their schedules. Of course, there are customer considerations that must also be balanced. Additionally, it is not clear what is meant by "strictly by the clock" . Due to the nature of our business, we must strictly follow a clock for purposes of accurately tracking time and compensating our teammates. Please take a moment to speak with your supervisor about your concerns. Your comments will also be shared with the company's leadership as well.

      Atlas Technologies - A great place to work!

      Pros

      Friendly atmosphere. Management and CEO are approachable and actively seek employee feedback in an effort to constantly improve. Lots of employee recognition and great benefits. Very involved in the community.

      Cons

      Parking is an issue on some occasions, although it has gotten much better recently. PTO is less than in previous jobs, although volunteer PTO can be earned to supplement time.

      Parking has been known to be an issue and that issue has been eliminated. In most cases, parking is available. Of course when we have company wide events, this creates some difficulties. Thank you for your comments regarding PTO. We spend a considerable amount of time analyzing our benefit package to ensure it can meet the needs of the employees and the company. Please continue to take advantage of VPTO as that has a positive impact on both you and our communities. UPDATE - Hopefully you have seen the improvement in parking and also our corporate events have moved to larger locations to make it easier and more enjoyable.
