Management a hot mess! Tremendous turnover

Great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of residents.

Cons

Constant churning and turning of management team. Regional management vs. local site management often in disagreement as to what direction employees are to go in. Difficult to manageme your department when you are being told different things. Regionals tell you what you need to do but often the onsite ED disagrees and you left trying to figure out who you answer to.

1) Commitment and plenty of "Rewards" for line staff: Cash bonus given i.e career commitment 2) Great benefits including tuition reimbursement 3) Quality control: bi-annual surprise visit from a quality control person who scores the community (more strenuous than a State visit) 4) Commitment to residents

Cons

1) Sales driven, so it feels fake when the tours are conducted. 2) Hourly staff - rates are not competitive 3) Overworked directors who must be available 24x7
