Pros

There are some great people who work at Atta, unfortunately none of them are in leadership.

Cons

Scott Gravelle is a Mad King with zero respect for his employees or customers. Tearing someone apart in front of a large group of people for petty things is hardly the mark of a great or even decent leader. He refuses to follow common engineering poractices, lterally writing stuff on the back of a napkin. He treats his customers like they are test sites, and is far to focused on the next big prize.

Pros

- work/life balance - exposure to a little bit of everything is great for expanding careers - rarely a dull moment- change is constant (except where change should be) - the work is actually interesting… everybody loves robots, and the premise of Attabotics’ technology and goals is solid. - Flexible hours for most, great vacation policy - benefits are good for a small company

Cons

- the Leadership team is completely dysfunctional. Unfortunately, the C-level is poison and it seems to have spread from there. The CEO means well, and is a great visionary, but would be well-served to surround himself with expertise and people who will honestly disagree & stand up to him when necessary. There is a culture of fear, with most leadership to afraid to voice concerns to the CEO, leaving the whole company susceptible to his whims. As a result, direction seems to be sporadic and erratic. - pay is sub-par & there is zero appetite for adjustment. Management (& P&C) would rather watch good employees leave than offer them a few % raise; they seem unconcerned with the cost of turnover (both direct/monetary and lost productivity/knowledge). - a once-great atmosphere has wilted. Everyone works hard, but decisions by management slow real (celebration-worthy) progress, which unfortunately is tied to the company’s ability to reward employees. Most employees would be lucky to get a pat on the back for achieving major goals and thus feel under-appreciated. (See next) - Turnover is constant. There are great people walking out the door every day and taking the best company knowledge (and morale) with them.
