Pros

They're good at feel good talk

Cons

more concerned with rapid acquisition of local businesses to eliminate competition and grow market share/profit margins than they are with building up and taking care of their current employees.

Sorry that your experience has been such and we take these reviews very seriously. I have shared the information with leadership and want to make sure we communicate to our employees in the best way possible. Acquisition certainly isn't something that you can rush and at times these transactions can take years. We are growing and communication is a key component to that growth so thanks for the feedback we will do better.

Pros

fringe benefits, exposure to diverse projects, access to additional resources on your own time

Cons

long hours, expectation of additional duties with minimal reimbursement, progressively becoming more "corporate", burn out environment. Atwell seems to be focused on growth and billing clients but it leaves a LOT to be desired for current employees doing the actual work: long (unpaid) hours, frantic learning on the job, and minimal monetary recognition for these efforts. frustrated after voicing complaints, no action taken, then surprise when employees leave.

This is great feedback for us to help us grow and to help take care of others. I know that a lot of people are at Atwell because of the culture that has been built and that steams from the people we have hired. We will look into identifying the extra efforts and communicating better. Thanks for your feedback,
