Pros

Positive, solution-focused team environment. ALP provides extensive training and ongoing support to BTs and BCBAs alike. The PRO team is invested in growth, promoting from within. As a BT, I felt supported by my supervisors. My opinion and input was valued. As a BCBA, I work closely with other members of the clinical team. To say I work for my dream company would be an understatement.

Cons

Personally, I cannot think of any!

We're flattered by your compliment and so thrilled to hear that your supervisors continue to offer you excellent support! At ALP, we're always striving to provide our employees with opportunities for career advancement and development. We love hearing success stories from former Behavior Technicians who have gone on to become BCBAs. That's why we offer a range of resources to support continued education, including tuition discounts, mentorship programs, annual reviews, pay reviews twice a year for Behavior Technicians, and advancement opportunities. If you haven't already taken advantage of these programs, we encourage you to reach out to your Clinical Director or our HR Benefits team to learn more. We appreciate everything you bring to your families every day and for being a part of the ABA community. We’re excited to see what you accomplish next at ALP!

Pros

You get to change lives and make a good impact on people.

Cons

There’s no actual pay structure and if you ask for one they can’t provide one. Little to no direction when it comes to starting the job and continuing. Little to no room to move up in the company. Issues never resolved in a timely manner. Poor management and response from upper management.

We want to extend a heartfelt appreciation for the time and energy you devoted to supporting ALP families, and for sharing your candid feedback with us. The Behavior Technician role is a critical one that can truly change lives. We’re truly sorry to hear your time with us wasn't more positive, and please know we take that seriously. We have processes in place to ensure everyone is on the same page, but we understand that people can get busy sometimes which may cause delays. Busy-ness aside, ALP upholds the expectation that all team members treat each other with respect and follow the guidelines and policies outlined in our Employee Handbook. We’ll pass along your feedback as we’re always looking for ways to improve the services we provide and the support we offer our employees. Please be assured that the compensation detailed in each employee’s offer letter is the same as reflected in every paystub; if there is ever a discrepancy, our Payroll team works quickly to resolve it. Thank you again for the time and support you provided our families during your time at ALP. We wish you the best wherever your career takes you next!

Pros

Paid training, learned a lot. Meaningful work with children.

Cons

Part time could mean that you are are still working everyday of the week! Working 6 days a week for 3-4 hours a day. Taking time off requires you to find a sub or making up the hours putting you in a position to work full time with no benefits.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for the impact you made on the lives of the children and families we serve. Although we regret that your experience wasn't as positive as we would hope, our mission remains steadfast: to offer the best clinical care possible, promoting meaningful and lasting improvement for families. We’re sorry you weren’t able to take advantage of full-time benefits, but we do have benefit packages for our employees who work as little as 20 hours per week. The valued and important contributions of our employees will always be at the core of what we do at ALP. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us, and we send you our warmest wishes for wherever your journey takes you next.
