Fabulous Company, But Everything has its Negatives

Pros

Mostly everyone who works there are fabulous human beings, they treat their employees very well, they pay handsomely.

Cons

Had to interview in person four different times even though they sought me out, they are definitely fire at will, may not give you warnings prior to firing you.

Pros

There are lots of great people on my team and I love working with them every day. We all learn from each other and enjoy collaborating. We have a good work-life balance because management allows flexible schedules.

Cons

To quote one of my teammates, Auto/Mate’s biggest problem has always been management and HR. Without competitive salaries and amenities, it’s difficult to recruit good software engineers. Senior management is horribly out of touch with the day-to-day on the various teams and doesn’t solve problems quickly.
