Pros

If you are a Jr Engineer this is a good place to get your foot in the door but I wouldn't stay there longer than 2 years.

Cons

- lots of gossip and internal politics - salary employees are treated like hourly employees ( extremely petty about time away from desk ) - tech can be very dated or Jr level ( windows forms, bootstrap ) ( in relation to one of the other posts ) The idea that the tech is cutting edge is a complete joke.

Pros

If you are in the correct group, you will get what you want and be treated well. Most of the individual personal working there are great.

Cons

Due to the lack of management, not everyone is treated the same. Some people can take that oops long lunch and no issues, others get would get in trouble. Some get bonus, even though same work is done. Its a favorite games. Also vacation/sick days are awful. 15 days total for both.

Good Opportunity, But Tread Carefully

Pros

Outstanding opportunity to gain solid experience in various professional disciplines. Current staff are highly skilled with excellent professional and technical acumen. Opportunities exist for lateral movements within the company and to wear more than one hat within departments. Provided mid-range relocation package (~50%).

Cons

Having moved for long-term employment I was laid off 2 months following the relocation of my family to Texas. I would advise requesting a one-year retainer prior to accepting any position. AUTOSOL did not allocate days off for moving but required me to use personal vacation days (only 2 weeks given annually). AUTOSOL currently lacks a robust level of internal training and training resources for in-house or specialized SCADA platforms (GeoSCADA etc.). Tread lightly on management promises that you will be "brought up to speed". Minimal opportunity for mid to senior level advancement.
