      A company that cares about it's employees

      Pros

      Management truly cares about and values their team. I am constantly asked if my workload is manageable. Our sales engineering is constantly helping each other out usually on very short notice - not just on a regional level but on a global level. We are held accountable but not micromanaged in any way. We are also fully empowered to do our jobs in the best way we see fit. For example, we recently started an innovation team where we are empowered to raise and address issues we see in our daily work lives. It's also a place where we have been encouraged to express concerns with our managers so that those concerns can be raised anonymously.

      Cons

      The usual stuff - documentation could be better and there are always changing procedures and policies.

      A Refreshing Challenge With a Teaspoon of Ambiguity

      Pros

      Growth industry with amazing client base Good product training with access to information and tools to help you be successful Great culture instilling consistent need / love for training & personal growth Strong collegial teaming across different parts of the organization to drive client success Accessible executive leadership team

      Cons

      Need a more consistent internal / external 360 degree information flow from product management. Some of the visionaries / 'art of the possible' people are single threaded. Need more consistent visioning and client oriented communication from product management across version releases and with mini-releases. KPI's for some roles woefully out of touch with reality. If you can't put this aside to still add significant value in your role this will eat at you.

      Favorite Job I've Had...Ever!

      Pros

      - ability to make an impact through implementing ideas and processes that work best for you/your department - leadership support, but autonomy to work as desired - strong internal partners/colleagues who care about the work and people with whom they collaborate - challenging work, never a dull moment, never looking at the clock - strong compensation and benefits including unlimited PTO, company-sponsored meals and employee events - company still nimble and individuals are able to enable positive change more quickly than in larger orgs

      Cons

      - growing rapidly so some processes/best practices are still a work in progress - while there are regular company all-hands meetings (where employees can submit questions in advance to various leaders, really great!), communication within smaller teams/departments could be better, perhaps via monthly agenda-based (not off-the-cuff which then to be inefficient) touch-base meetings...this is case by case, pending one's team, but it's been noted that some leaders are not great about communicating latest news, areas of improvement or acknowledging accomplishments
