      Great Coworkers, Interesting Work

      Pros

      We work on really neat projects, so work is not boring. The people at ASI are great, and I never worry that my manager doesn't have the best interest of our team and the project in mind with all the decisions he makes. People are highly valued, and there is high transparency about what's going on in the company. I thoroughly enjoy working with each of my coworkers, and I feel appreciated and respected. Constant improvement in the products, processes, and employees is encouraged.

      Cons

      I could probably get paid more working elsewhere for the same work I do at ASI. Managers are over-worked. I've seen several instances when product management promises to deliver one thing without fully consulting the engineers to make sure that's possible, but I can see improvements being made with this.

      Pros

      ASI works on the edge of new technology. It is a fun place to work where there are new challenges to overcome and new things to learn on a weekly basis. The company is consistently moving in new directions that challenge its employees to learn and think in new ways. Plus the benefits are great!!!

      Cons

      Most of the staff is hybrid remote. This type of work can be difficult for some if you thrive on daily face to face interactions. The company does meet in person every Tuesday for staff meeting which is good, it just might not be enough for some people. That said management is willing to work with requests of working in office more often, just don't expect to see your whole department there.
