      We are sorry to hear that ASI was not a career fit for you. Because of the nature of our industry, we have the opportunity to work in the hills of Petersboro, Utah (a 15 drive from the heart of Logan, Utah) to test our autonomous vehicles on tracks. Comments we hear often from customers and employees is how much they love the beauty of our surroundings. Our company has grown leaps and bounds since it first took operation. Like all small start-up companies, we go through growth opportunities which sometimes have obstacles. We value our employees and care about their needs. We have engineered plans for a new beautiful building with state of the art design, and we can’t wait to offer that to our employees.

      Has potential, don't imagine it will ever get there

      Casual work environment, flexible computer policy, co-workers, catered lunch once a week

      Cons

      Runs like one giant IRD project, constantly looking for funding to keep afloat, management changes their minds frequently, constantly trying to sell a product that doesn't exist, fighting for contracts with customers who they shouldn't be, high turnover, in general employee morale is low, company initiatives get hijacked by customers

      That's great to hear you enjoy working with your co-workers, we have some of the best people in the state working here and we can’t say enough, how awesome they are! We dedicate a significant amount of time in conversations and monthly surveys from management to hear from our employees. We are always seeking out feedback and most importantly solutions where changes can be made and how that can have the most positive effect overall. Please remember our open-door policy, you can always reach out to your manager, HR, or any of our Senior staff. We want to hear from you and we are here to listen. It appears that you've worked for us for less than a year, so you're aware we are moving in a positive growth direction by generating contracts and products that are improving the safety of lives and production with our partnerships. Business contracts take time which allows ASI to make informed decisions along the way. We are not a perfect company. We are growing, and with that growth, we learn along the way and changes must be made. We don't get everything correct 100% of the time, but we truly care about our customers' needs, ambitions, and goals.

      *Being involved in cutting edge technology which is changing the way work is done *Being involved with a growing company with huge growth potential *Working with bright people who are focused on succeeding and who are easy to work with *Good employee stock ownership plan *Fantastic location for those who value great outdoor recreation

      Cons

      *Growing pains associated with bootstrapping your way up. Concerns are being resolved with new investment from world-class companies and a solid pipeline of new contracts. Facility is a bit cramped. Clear plans to remedy that.
