So many management changes from VP to Director has produced a flood of no name, unproven people moving into key leadership roles (The good'old boy network is alive and well!)....These same people are making reckless, wholesale personnel changes...throwing the baby out with the bathwater... Countless, tenured employees are being dismissed with little to zero reasoning or explanations. Simply put, upper management is changing up personnel because AutoTrader is going backwards in revenue growth and they place the blame on the field instead of taking a look in the mirror. As a former, long time employee I can say that there were many years when corporate was in touch with the field level...this is no longer the case. Its good old boy empire building time at AutoTrader and the sales peoples sense of security is at an all time low. Its just a job now versus the former excitement of building a career.

extremely stressful, no longer rewarding, you are micro managed daily.a lot of employees today say it can be called the plantation of today. Many people are trying to get out by moving to another company or taking leave due to stress. No movement for seasoned extremely knowledgeable employees. Employees are no longer part of the equation. It is all about the mighty $$.
