      Pros

      The remote work structure and the trust from management makes my role a dream. If you show you work hard, you tend to gain real autonomy over your success and schedule (leading to great flexibility). Leadership pushes me to have significant ownership over high-impact initiatives, and the company empowers people to cross over business departments where they'd like. As a dynamic startup, it's great working with such amazing and genuinely interesting people. Also, more importantly, the product is something I believe in long-term, so it's exciting logging in to work everyday!

      Cons

      Given we work remotely, allocating more time and resources to company get togethers would be great (but understood given we work around the country)

      Working at AvantStay has been a rewarding journey filled with challenges. The company's culture encourages self-starters and those motivated to drive positive change. One of the unique aspects is the accessibility to the executive team. Each person on the Avantstay leadership team is approachable and open to having a conversation with anyone at any level. The goal is always to improve and to grow- if you’re open to speaking up, you will be heard. AvantStay's commitment to improvement offers an opportunity for employees to make a significant impact. While the challenges are there, they contribute to personal and professional growth. Overall, AvantStay is an exciting place to work, where dedication is met with opportunities for influence and growth. If you want to do well here, you must work hard and challenge everything. The team is always pushing to move the needle and open to suggestions on how we can improve- it’s not one of those sit back and wait until 5pm to clock out type jobs. You need to want the company to succeed to enjoy the work you’re doing- if you work hard, you’ll be rewarded.

      It’s a startup, and hospitality so expect to be online and available outside of office hours (if you’re salary)
