Great fourth year

Pros

Great teammates, great boss, flexible with hours (these may just be within my team, specifically). The team and the company has a clear vision on where they want to go. There are semi-annual bonuses, comprised of cash and stock. I have yet to sell any stock, and so far it has grown in value.

Cons

Promotion was slow in coming, but there were salary increases in between. Bonuses were hard-earned, but no goal was impossible to reach.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for being part of Axos over the past several years. It is great to hear your feedback on your team, leadership, and flexibility. At Axos, we place a strong focus on building high-performing teams with clear direction, while rewarding impact through bonus and equity. Your perspective on promotion timing is valued as well. Growth at Axos can take different forms, and we continue to focus on creating opportunities through expanded responsibilities, compensation progression, and internal mobility. We wish you continued success here!

Pros

There's a lot of involvement in portfolio tracking, reporting, credit analysis, and risk-related discussions, so the learning practically never stops. My daily work is not limited to repetitive spreadsheet updates—different accounts and market conditions keep things interesting. Employees are trusted to handle their responsibilities, so no one's micromanaged, which makes this less stressful than many other finance jobs. The pay and benefits are competitive, adding to the sense of stability.

Cons

Quarter-end reporting periods are quite stressful.
