Pros

- Beautiful San Diego. - Free company lunch (usually tacos) once a while.

Cons

- Company culture seems cold - employees seems don't enjoy working there. No "Hello“ or "How are you" when walking by. - Feels stingy and shady - I was entitled to receive 20% bonus at the time of leaving the company, but they used an excuse to refuse to give it to me.

One of our purposes is to create a desirable work environment that inspires those to work hard and enjoy their time here. There are social opportunities throughout Axos for Team Members that are interested. In order to receive your bonus, you must be employed at Axos on the day the bonus is paid.

Pros

Nothing. I really can't say anything good about this organization.

Cons

It's really bad in the tech department. I met the CISO on our floor several times, he seemed very condescending. I saw how bad he treated everyone by overworking his staff. I believe he begged some of his staff to stay there due to his extreme high turn over rate. That's just one example of the toxicity in that department.

We believe that everyone has a right to be treated with dignity. We have a responsibility to be the best we can be in all situations. We encourage our Team Members to speak with their managers wherever improvement is needed.

Pros

Some great people on the team, opportunities to work with high level execs (if you get lucky)

Cons

Where do I start. When they interview you, they'll lowball your requested salary and promise they'll supplement it with bonuses and stock that you'll likely never see. My department had MASSIVE turnover - the average tenure of people in my position was 6 months. The CEO has a stronghold on everything the company does and is very conservative/old fashioned. Thus, expect to be exposed to COVID, because you will have to come into the office, people won't wear masks, and they don't send the floor home when there's a positive case. They really, really overwork people and rarely promote from within. When a rare management position opened on the team, not one single person in the next below position (there were 5 qualified people at the time) was considered or interviewed.

We are committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of all Team Members. We follow CDC and state/county guidelines and comply with all applicable laws and regulations to ensure that in-office work happens safely. As a company, we believe that being together onsite in the office is very important for collaboration, learning, and communication. Our average time to promotion is 1 year and 5 months with strong performance over a 12-month period.
