      Conflicting expectations made it impossible to succeed

      The technology platform was solid.

      Cons

      There was no aggreement between departments on what success looked like. The department lead would give one set of instructions, only for another team to undo everything a weel later. This constant back-and-forth wasted hours and killed any momentum. You can't succeed when you're constantly being told to start over.

      Pros

      I appreciate the feeling of having job security. We have structured processes that help maintain consistency. A professional workplace culture. Expectations are clearly defined. Occasional opportunities to take on more responsibilities which is a good way of learning.

      Cons

      Management does an okay job of addressing concerns, but sometimes things take longer than expected to get resolved.
