Pros

- Good if it’s your first job out of undergrad - I personally think I had a good team

Cons

- Salary is below average salary within any field/position - You may get a promotion on paper, but won’t get a salary promotion until a year after agreeing (Even though you’re expected to still do the extra work) - Micromanaging from managers, even when you have exceeded expectations and have accomplished your duties (I know you shouldn’t “stop” working then but it is still ridiculous) - Would get workload outside of job duty (Our team would get QA assignments even though there is a well-established QA team) - Employee turnover rate is so high, I have seen employees quit even after being promoted - Big projects have fallen behind due to so many employees quitting and lack or proper management from VPs and other leaders - You will have to track down HR because they are most likely to not answer your emails or messages within a matter of days - Benefits are a joke

The learning and development opportunities at Axos are extensive and growing. Our UX team collaborates with other teams to help manage our fast-paced workload. The Axos benefits package is competitive by industry standards, and we continue to enhance it. We wish you well and hope you expressed your concerns to your manager.

Pros

There are no pros to working where I worked at Axos.

Cons

Poor management, deceptive compensation packages, mandatory overtime, poor training, no breaks. This company is the worst I have ever worked for. First, the DepOps department provides little to no training and expect employees to sink or swim. Then supervisors will berate you in front of the rest of the staff for not knowing how to do something that you have no training on. Upper management knows about this and does nothing. Then they steal your breaks. They say, "we want you to take your breaks," but then pile on time sensitive tasks that have you unable to leave your desk until past your 6th hour, then management will adjust your time cars, sometimes without your consent. If you try to enforce your boundaries, you are treated like an outsider and will have every aspect of you nitpicked until you fall in-line or they can fire you. Upper management knows about this and does nothing. Each raise or promotion will be, "considered at your next review..." Even if you work 12 hour days with non-regulation breaks. Unprofessional and toxic work environment and culture up and down. I could go on and on. Bottom line, I would not recommend this company but especially this department.

Manual wire processing is tedious and quick-paced, requiring extraordinary attention to detail with hard deadlines. We are a driven team with experienced and thoughtful leaders. Team Members are paid exactly as we disclose in their offer letter or better. Overtime can be required based on business needs. Extensive one-on-one training is provided by the supervisor, along with extensive coaching in your first weeks. Our managers will correct a time card at the Team Member’s request if they forgot to clock in or out. We provide the resources to win, but the individual has to bring the grit and work ethic. We do not condone treating someone poorly, though we are very direct and uncompromising when it comes to performance expectations.

In addition to our annual salary, our compensation package includes a semi-annual bonus that is structured to incentivize Team Members to achieve or exceed their target bonus percentage. Our bonus structure rewards individualized performance.
