Pros

Pay, benefits, and work schedule are standard for A/D industry

Cons

This biggest issue is a failure to win programs and loss of technical staff. While it may be a good place to start or end a career, always keep one foot out the door.

Pros

Decent pay Some remote options available Entire employment, compensation system is built around The systems of accountability or poorly planned/managed

Cons

Seems intentionally shady - Seems to only care about legality of a situation when its disadvantageous to BAE The rating system for PDRs/Review are affected by timesheet submission..... And their VM system needed for timesheet submission is notoriously unreliable.... Raises are affected directly and ONLY affected by PDR/Reviews Rating of 1 = 1% - Rating of 5 = 5% raise Rating of 3 is good enough to keep your job anything else is bad So at best you can only receive a 2% raise, which you also have to justify/record all details regarding and submit - Which they still might say you did not put in enough information Only have vested 401k options - 3-5 years Intentionally misleading 401k matching - They tell you they pay 6% BUT only .75$ on the dollar - Which is 4.5%...... But BAE literally refuses to acknowledge or understand that math even when proven Management must be harrassed to get answers to even the most simple of questions but also including extremely important questions Some managers become hostile when they do not hear what they want to hear - Definitely be careful which "Open Door" you open Management attempts to get go getters to put in extra work to make up for their lack of/poor contract planning/writing and/or management Certain roles are not completely filled/accounted for, management is either unwilling or incapable of filling those gaps, so they attempt to assign it to whatever grunt is willing to break their back for little to no recognition Hard workers pick up the slack of management, who do the minimal to support their meetings to move their tasks/goals forward Invites to meetings with no explanation/update as to the expectations or the goal for that meeting Then management does not attend.... causing frustration for employees' and government clients The systems of accountability or so poorly planned/managed that turn around time for tickets is slow as dirt Definitely affects the client whether they are aware or not

Pros

None. I really can't say anything positive about working at BAE.

Cons

Company is really big on bate and switch. The job you end up doing doesn't even remotely resemble the job description you apply for. Benefits are horrible. Out if pocket healthcare costs are very high. You have to earn PTO, so forget about planning a vacation unless you want to owe the company time. Raises are a joke. There's little incentive to want to do a good job other than to keep your job. The facilities in Nashua are very old and outdated. They car more about diversity, equity, and inclusion than anything else.
