One bad apple ruins the whole experience

Pros

Interesting company with great products. Majority of the people are great, knowledgeable and work well together. Good leadership at VP/CEO level. Good salary and benefits. Remote working.

Cons

Some people cannot manage people and result to micromanaging which then negates the reason why people beneath them in the organisation are hired at all. Constant pressure and criticism despite employees doing everything possible to avoid it results to depression and self doubt without a real need for it. Leading by example should be standard for anyone who is managing a team. Some people shouldn’t be managing a team. Life is too short to feel miserable at work when we spend so much time working.
