Pros

Robust policies, well established database systems.

Cons

Training is focused on outlining policy. Lack of resources for deliverables, new hires are often advised of a deliverable when a manager asks why it is missing or overdue rather than being trained on what is due for the role when. Even when the resources and support are requested the response is often - “did you read the policy”. Leaders are focused on documenting for corrective action, but little action is taken for employees that are actual risks or under performers.
