It seems an end of an era

Pros

I've really enjoyed my time working at BambooHR. The people I work with are top notch and for a while I actually bought into the idea Bamboo was a different kind of company.

Cons

Sadly it seems though Bamboo has decided to hang their Utah remote workers out to dry. They've recently decided that certain people are not capable of remote work. And those people are anyone unlucky enough to live close to the office. The worse part about this change is they like to pretend they care, and that they listen to their employees. For a while I believed it. Their mantra is to do great work, but apparently that comes now with the added stipulation of "While in the office". If you're considering applying here I'd recommend you be from out of state, because if you're in Utah then your remote work days will probably be numbered.

Pros

- The people are awesome, they really are. Everyone is really happy to be there. - The product is great. Really the best out there as far as HRIS goes for small to medium sized businesses - Benefits are good

Cons

- Pay is below the industry standard. Granted they are small deals we are making -Quota is fairly high. Maybe about 5% to 10% of SDRs actually hit quota

Pros

They are incredible at hiring the right people. Everyone is diverse, but everyone has a unique quality to them that not many people possess. It’s great working with great people. I’m a big fan of their benefits. These are the selling points to keeping here.

Cons

I really wish taking time off was easier. Within implementation (project management), it’s difficult to take time off without quickly falling behind on work, thus lowering the overall desire to want to take time off. The work loads are stressful and high. Sometimes they seem nearly impossible but somehow we make it through.
