1. staff is very helpful and friendly 2. the campus is very safe, don't even have to worry about leaving laptops in the library

Cons

1. Waco area has nothing to do and is totally not pedestrian friendly 2. this university is all-Christian and lacks diversity

Plenty of time to study while working, other OA's and CL's are always around to hang out with, residents are friendly

Cons

Work gets boring, the hours can be inconvenient: late nights and weekends, little incentive to work hard, pay is minimum wage

Pros

The faculty and staff are genuine and open, focused on providing an atmosphere for quality scholarship and personal growth. The campus itself is also beautiful and a great work environment. I worked for Baylor University Press while I was also a student at the university, and the staff were extremely flexible in allowing me to schedule work hours around my class times. After I left the university the faculty and staff were supportive in writing reference letters and recommendations for future positions and schooling.
