Pros

Family values. I know that sounds cliché, but it’s true. I was an acquired employee with 5 years with the previous ownership. Upon merging with this company, I was immediately made to feel at home, and had my ideas implemented into their every day practices within my first few months with them. And in my 4 months with BeMobile made about half of what I did with the previous company. In January, I lost my rescue dog of 7 years, and had many from corporate in all seats reach out to me personally to express their sympathy. In May of this year I was diagnosed with cancer, their caring committee assisted with a donation, as well as sent me a personalize gift and video from all of my peers. I was offered a position with corporate Verizon the day the acquisition was announced, I can say with 100% certainty that I made the correct decision in giving BeMobile a chance that day.

Cons

The only thing I can say that does need to be looked as is travel compensation. The use of personal personal vehicles for company travel should be enough to cover gas and to cover wear and tear on our vehicles, not “to help offsite the expense of gas”. Gas has been nearly 60¢ to a $1 cheaper a gallon in other BeMobile states than ours, and during its peak prices this year it was costing over $800 in gas and reimbursement was much less. Now that gas prices have subsided a little bit, I am breaking even with gas expense vs travel reimbursement. However, that doesn’t factor in the oil changes I am needing every month and a half, tires that I am needing every year and a half, the engine that I have already had to replace in my 2 year old vehicle, and the extended warranty needed in the vehicle because the factory warranty expires due to miles in a little over a year.

Thank you for the review. The culture at BeMobile is very important to all employees. Showing kindness and care, especially in personal and difficult times, is very special and it is awesome you have felt the love of so many kind people at BeMobile. BeMobile does have district leadership and corporate positions where driving is a necessary requirement of the role. For those positions there is a hybrid reimbursement model where the employees receive a fixed monthly reimbursement to help offset routine maintenance and wear and tear on personal vehicles. In addition to that there is a flat mileage rate on all miles driven by these employees. This benefit does fluctuate by employee based on the fuel efficiency of the personal vehicle the employee chooses to drive. In the summer of 2022 as gas prices rose, the mileage rate increased by 23% to ensure the rate was covering all gas expenses in all of the states BeMobile operates so the fixed reimbursement dollars would be available to cover those routine maintenance items. Thank you again for your open and honest feedback.

Pros

“Culture “ is what they would want me to say

Cons

Pretty low pay for a management position. Sales reps start BELOW minimum wage in Illinois. As long as the higher ups have there pockets lined, they don’t care , they will lie and say everything’s awesome while there people are dying

Thank you for your review. Pay is definitely an important component of a job! BeMobile is actively monitoring all pay plans to be in compliance with all state requirements and to ensure resources are available to maximize earnings. At BeMobile wages are made up of hourly pay plus commissions or salary plus commissions depending on the position. The combination of the hourly and commission earnings does meet the minimum wage requirements. Our Illinois Sales Partners average $24.60/hour which is more than double the minimum wage of $12/hour. New hires start at $15/hour training wage before moving to commission pay plan which is also above minimum wage. Our Store Leader pay plans offer unlimited commission opportunities on the peformance of the store which has allowed average store leader earnings to increase the last four years consecutively, increasing 35.2% on average since 2018. Thank you.
