Pros

Great benefits. 401k contributions, student loan paydown. Medical, vision, and dental insurance 100% paid by employer.

Cons

There is zero managerial transparency. You will be told to use code in ways that actively sabotage the project. Unit tests are not allowed. CI/CD is considered too complex. You will be told that the documentation of Oracle, Microsoft, Paypal, and Google is wrong. You will watch as consultants are hired and fired as Management tirelessly states that every consultant is wrong and that everything Management does is correct. As soon as Management thinks they don't need you any more, they will fire you and anyone else that actually codes. I honestly don't know why I still thought it would be a good place to work after I found out that two whole teams of developers had been fired before I was hired.
