Pros

Supervisors and other RBTs are great, the job is fun and there is some room for upward movement in the company

Cons

The scheduling and billing departments really struggle. I would get calls to fill in on therapy sessions that had already started, have the wrong location on my schedule, not receive calls when my schedule changed and have sessions marked as "training and admin" rather than "direct therapy" when they shouldn't have been (training and admin rate is about $5/hr less than direct therapy). No one in the scheduling department answers the phone and the Denver region doesn't have a scheduler in the same time zone. Scheduling also has way too many cases to handle per scheduler. Billing forgot to register my personal information to my ALINE card upon resignation after 2 years, they locked sessions on my timesheet that were incorrect so that I was not paid properly and I have heard multiple parent complaints of receiving invoices late or receiving invoices long after they had ended services.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our Denver region. The Denver clinical team focuses on providing quality services through extensive BCBA supervision, individual client team meetings, and whole team socials. The RBTs and BCBAs work together to provide each client with the most effective ABA services. Based on your feedback, we will review the scheduling and billing procedures for that location to determine if there are any areas that we can improve, so that families continue to receive excellent ABA services in the Denver area.

Pros

Being able to see kids make progress

Cons

Lack of hours, long commutes, lack of training, frequent cancellations, changes in schedule without notification, very inconsistent hours (one day you could have a 1.5 hour shift and the next you can be scheduled for 10 hours)

Thank you for your feedback. I see that you are a current employee, so I would strongly encourage you to bring your concerns to your Liaison Manager or Director. Our clinicians are always available and willing to offer more training, just ask! In regards to cancellations - yes, those do happen, as clients get sick - but please speak to your scheduler, as our team is often able to supplement cancelled sessions with fill-in hours with other clients.
