      Pros

      I enjoyed the work we did. Getting to work with various technologies, being able to work directly with clients in their homes rather than in store. And always learning something new.

      Cons

      The company has unfortunately veered away from putting its employees first and has downsized, cut most positions, cut market/vendor trainings, had high turnover and overall morale had been sinking in my final few years. Everyone became expendable. They got rid of all bonus structures and ultimately made, what was once a great place to work with lots of potential, a sad shell of it's former self.

      Get to practice and extend your knowledge about IT related topics, Often get to meet and work with interesting and fun people

      Cons

      Downsides are like any other customer oriented facing jobs. You will get the occasional Karen who won't take no for an answer even if there is actually nothing you can do to remedy the situation. Skeleton crew can become somewhat chronic

      Employee discount on small items. Assistant Managers are great and want to help!! Managers are great people who care,

      Cons

      They thrive off of DEI hires. Which unfortunately hurts productivity as they will get favorable treatment in scheduling. Understaffing issues (not getting current employees to show up for scheduled shifts) if you love being schedule 4 hr shifts and then working extra to cover the people who didnt show up BBY is your ideal place. Also you will be told you are a fulltime hire and then be schedule 20 hours for the week. I feel like the store managers have their hands tied by an out of touch Corporate boss.
