Pros

• Pay is decent • Training is pretty easy if you pay close attention and dedicate some of your personal time outside of work.

Cons

• There are six test that you have to take in the first few weeks and if you don’t score above an 85%, you will be fired. • Nesting can be overwhelming due to there being lack of trainers. My training class had 20 people and only 3 trainers that would take turns speaking. They could not control their other employees, it’s like being in a high school class trying to learn while other people are having side conversations that aren’t work related at all and can be quit inappropriate. • Managers are only friendly if they like you, if they do not, you will find training very difficult because they will not answer your questions and pretty much treat you like you aren’t there (very much a high school childish environment). Be prepared to have to suck up to management and even then they still might not like you. • Training is only 2 weeks and then you are thrown to the wolves aka nesting. You either sink or swim and most sink due to the lack of on hands training. They have a very high turn over rate, that they do not discuss. Be aware they will lie, tell you what you want to hear and not the truth. It’s their job, One minute they will smile in your face and the next minute it’s the complete opposite. I’ve seen other reviews say that the company runs like squid games and it completely does. You are just a number even if they tell you otherwise don’t be naive and have a backup plan!!!! People drop like flies in this company. There is a reason why most of the managers you meet (actually all) have only been with the company for less than two years. •Cannot take off any sick time (so if you have an emergency that requires 2 days off or more be prepared to lose your job (even if you can provide documentation .) They will fire you without warning during your shift even if it’s not technically legal. • The program that they offer does seem like a scam, which is why a lot of people don’t graduate the program. So if you’re someone like me that has a moral compass, you will feel drained by the end of your shift. • Again, I can’t emphasize this enough. You are just a number. Please take time to look at the reviews, it’s sad to say, but the negative reviews are more truthful than the positive reviews. • and even if you do graduate training and nesting. You still have no job stability, so if you’re looking for job stability this isn’t the job at all. You will not have any, even if they say otherwise. I’ve seen firsthand myself them telling people that their job is secured, and then being fired 30 minutes later. If you’re someone that doesn’t mind having to worry about if you have a job or not every single day even after training/nesting then this is the job for you!

Pros

This company does decent things for clients.

Cons

Horrible for employees with their stupid metrics requirements. Due to the fact they spend they spend $200 to $500 dollars to get leads, they punish employees with extremely asinine requirements. Stupid, dispositions requirements that will bring down something that is not even the fault of a salesman!! "it will just be something that works out". They punish you for crappy leads they provide you. It is HORRIBLE..I 100% say DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. They even make you work on New Years Day, and EASTER!!!! They do not believe in letting their employees being with their family on holidays.. They are making 100's of millions of dollars and not doing right by the people who give it to them, so shameful.

Pros

The work is challenging and moves quickly, week to week you’re always focusing on something new which helps to keep you engaged. If you do hang there a while there’s a great camaraderie with the people, the downside is that likely comes out of commiserating about some of the cons.

Cons

I really wanted to continue working at Beyond, but the company seems to constantly be shooting itself in the foot with respect to how it treats employees. First off, the advertised “flexible/open PTO” policy was made clear that there is a hard 3-week cap, well after I started, and despite asking about this during the interview process and being told four weeks is the rule of thumb. As of when I left, this was still the case. It’s not great for morale when you effectively lose a week of PTO. Secondly, the turnover rate during my time there was incredibly high. There are a lot of great, intelligent people at Beyond. But, Beyond also needs to do a better job of assessing talent for the role they’re hiring them in to. I saw quite a few people let go within 2-3 months of their starting because they were not properly assessed for the role they were hired in to, and thus did not perform well. Of course this will happen anywhere occasionally, but when it happens over and over within a span of a few months, it comes down to hiring practices and assessing fitness for the role. And when this constantly turnover does happen, it creates a strain on existing employees due to changing bandwidth. Lastly, is the broader culture. This can be hit or miss depending on where you land. There are some great, kind, intelligent managers, but there are also some that can be bullies, or just flatly have unrealistic expectations and work you until you’re burnt out for no reason. Your experience with this can make or break your time, depending on where you end up and who you work with. Top leadership also has a tendency to make a fire drill out of everything, and that pushes a culture of unnecessary immediacy and urgency down on everyone, and can make interpersonal relationships very stressful. I really wanted to want to continue to working here. The work was dynamic, and once you settle in I didn’t find myself working much/any nights or weekends. Unfortunately after a while I just couldn’t get past the cultural issues.
