Pros

It's close to home, nice atmosphere, not many cubicles where I work. Ummm... the vending machines are nice. There is a water fountani and a river out back.

Cons

If you speak up, you will pay for it. The pay sucks compared to other companies of the same size, location, etc. If you want to be promoted, you'd better make sure it comes with more pay, because if you don't, you won't get more pay. They play like they like you, but that's only because you're a "butt" in a seat. One senior Vp who has a stormy name makes a habit of firing people in front of others to make an example of them. She even wanted one employee's parents present at her firing. Are you kidding me?

Pros

Fast changing company Willing to invest in new technologies. Generally recognizes and rewards good performance

Cons

Internal changes are not always well-planned or coordinated. Corporate goals and objectives are not clearly defined and communicated to employees. Sometimes projects are done whichever way is quickest rather than doing them right the first time. Move people around the office too much.

Pros

-Having a CEO that walks around and asks what you're up to so he knows his business from the ground up. -Having a CEO with a social conscience -Upper management that have senses of humor -Good health benefits- in over 4 years there's only been one time our insurance has said "no" (and I'm still working on getting that yes) -Move up from within! You can start out on the phones but if you learn everything you can, you can end up being a decision maker one day.

Cons

-Sometimes if you're the person doing your job well and not causing problems, you're the one that's overlooked. (Squeaky wheel gets the grease you know) -Pay rarely matches what most others make at other places. I've always said "you have to really want to work here"....cause it won't be for the pay, but there's so many other trade offs that make it worthwhile. Still, it would be nice to make industry standard
