      Killed a great product, and a great team

      Pros

      Convio, the company that Blackbaud purchased, was the only Pro to Blackbaud as a whole. But then they drove out all of Convio's best employees, and products, and we were left with nothing to hold onto.

      Cons

      No transparency through upper management. Company headed in so many directions and so many cooks in the kitchen it's hard to understand where you fit into the bigger picture. So many bottlenecks and hoops to jump through each time a change needs to be made or take care of a customer. So many constant management changes it's hard to have any progress for the betterment of the customers and employees alike.

      Pros

      Benefits, PTO (up to 24 days off the first year), and energy are phenomenal. I think entry level analyst pay is comparable to the industry and the work life is great. I can't explain it but the energy in Indianapolis is SO positive. Every area you go everyone is happy. That's unheard of! They encourage creativity with things like the giant crossword puzzle on the wall and they have so many little "perks" that really make the experience a great one.

      Cons

      I haven't found any yet. I guess some people complain about the cost of benefits or the 401k matching but I found that there are many companies with way less in those areas.

      Competitive compensation package including 401k, wellness benefits, extended maternity plan Flexibility, can work remote when needed Working with good people Customer Focus

      Cons

      Can be difficult when working with other departments that don't take ownership or seem unsure of how to fix a problem Lots of transition-- often times things change just to return to the previous model within months
