Pros

Significant changes in the past year for the better Bottom up deadlines (leaders actually help provide support when a bottom deadline does not meet business needs) Committed to career growth Much better at being transparent than before Extremely collaborative colleagues Has built a solid senior leadership team Free lunch (when the offices were open) Good Compensation

Cons

Work life balance can get out of control for some (have not personally faced this problem, yet) Attrition is high, but slowly improving Frequent senior management changes (good or bad, depending on how you see it) Transparency has improved by a lot but not where it should be (especially, finances) One layer of middle management is probably not required at this stage Questionable initial response to COVID (but handled well later)

Pros

Blink Health is incredibly effective at burning out talented engineers.

Cons

Over the last four years, Blink Health has conducted a lot of exit interviews. Attrition is high at the company. Engineers regularly drop off within weeks or months of joining. Despite all of these departures, Blink Health has done very little to improve its deadline structure, process, or culture. The deadlines set by leaders inevitably lead to sub-MVP projects being built. There is no time for tech debt to be resolved. Nobody in leadership will act on your concerns. There is little growth or development. The culture of fear, paranoia and discontent is pervasive throughout the organization. The Gallup survey was presented as a turning point for Blink, but things continued to get worse.

This place is a nightmare

Pros

No amount of free food is worth the career derailment this place causes if you work here

Cons

This place is a side show. I’ve personally witnessed a high ranking c-suite exec leave his analyst out to dry prior to a board meeting so he could take an impromptu European vacation. They will fire you without any forewarning. Multiple cases of sexual harassment that go unchecked. They lie about delivery metrics, leaving patients waiting for their meds for days. The owners are little creeps too. Honestly do yourself a favor and never work here.
