Awesome Devs. Both in knowledge as in personallity; The company does try to hire likeminded developers.

Cons

It stops there. Everyone *else* the company hires does not fit into the Developers like-minded hive, and thus it's an all-out war to gain points with your PO, which in turn is trying to gain points with the person on top of him, and so on. Also.. Your salary will only raise based on prospected expectation and random "liking bonus points". Have you been kissing butts lately? Welcome to the pay raise group :D

- Laid back, informal work atmosphere - The (few remaining) people genuinely trying to make your lives better - Working for Betfair is good for your CV.

Cons

- "Leadership" is actually autocratic - "Do as I say, not as I do" mentality. Management team do not live by the values they publicly promote. - Only those who blindly follow the "dear leader" have any chance of succeeding. - Competence is optional. Be a good puppy, and you're set to shine. - Dog eat dog world. Stabbing your fellow mate in the back is common practice nowadays. - No transparency

Food, office, and some interesting projects ( not many )

Cons

The PaddyPowerBetfair merger created a negative impact on our culture and the new HR team managed to finish the destruction phase. Don't get fooled with "best company" awards. Ask people who work there for more than two years and you'll see.
