Pros

They are actively trying to figure out why they can't retain talent or younger workings.

Cons

Even though everyone has told them why they can't retain talent or younger workers, they refuse to change. -Dress code right out of the 80s, even for non customer facing roles -No working from home -Pay is under industry average -No modern workplace conveniences Management thinks they can run the companies like its the 80s and no one knows anything about IT instead of paying attention to industry workplace trends over the past 20 years. Oh, and the President is a huge Trump fan, which should tell anyone with a brain exactly what you need to know. Racism, sexism, and nepotism for everyone!

Pros

Decent first job to put on resume Recruiters will call you all time

Cons

Zero Sales knowledge by senior management. They still operate like a copier company in 1986. Do not have the ability to deliver on ANY of the solutions or services that we sell. No professional career plan for sales reps No transparency in commissions Comp plans change every year HORRIBLE culture that is demoralizing to new people in the industry. Racist and inappropriate comments by ownership occur in every meeting. No accountability by anybody at the Executive level. Customer interests are always secondary the interest of ownership Soiled reputation in the industry due to bad business practice. Outdated facility with outdated technology. CRM is a joke (They will say in the reponse that the CRM is new, it is not) Billing to customers is horrible. You WILL get a call daily from a customer complaining.

Thank you for your feedback – it helps us to continually improve. We agree that there is room for improvement of communications within any company, and work at improving our own communications regularly. However we were surprised to hear you felt nepotism played a role in our work environment. Blue Technologies has experienced consistent growth since our inception, and with growth comes the opportunity to hire new people into the business. As such, we have established a robust, effective recruiting process that every applicant goes through to ensure we hire the best candidate for each job. Among our 200-person staff, that process has successfully qualified just 4 associates for employment with familial connections to company leadership. We were also surprised to hear of a disparity between male managers and female employees, as we are proud to have an even number of female managers to male managers. We take this comment seriously, and encourage any employee encountering a negative experience – gender-related or otherwise – to directly or anonymously communicate your feelings with HR to ensure your issues are appropriately addressed. Lastly, while we are sorry to hear you felt pay was on the low side, we strive to provide competitive compensation – which spans a rich benefits package, as well as wages paid. In fact, our benefits program has been shown to add as much as $10,000.00 to the value of the compensation plans we offer. From the very first month of employment, this package includes 401K with company match up to 4%, generous health care options, PTO, and opportunities for continuing education, among others. We sincerely hope all of our employees are happy at Blue Technologies, and welcome any feedback that helps us to continue building a work environment that is Committed to Excellence. For those who do not feel totally satisfied here, we wish them the best in their future endeavors.
