Pros

The coworkers I had were amazing, however they are leaving in droves.

Cons

I have wanted to work for bon secours since I graduated about 6 years ago. I finally was able to achieve this dream about 3 years ago and it was a seriously terrible experience. In the time I was there the merger with mercy health took place/was completed and subsequently everything went down hill. No support from management and the company during the start of covid, direct management in my department (I’m a clinician) was horrible, poor pay and reduced benefits once the merger took place (ie. copays went up etc.) Highly recommend avoiding this place for now. Customer service both internally, like IT, office communication etc and externally were very poor. Hopefully with word getting around regarding how awful they have become as a company will prompt a change in a few years..

Pros

Pay is good for the industry. PTO is also generous.

Cons

Bunch of pathological liars running the company. Literally everything the executives tell you, the exact opposite happens. Constant pay cuts and layoffs. Jason Suzuka and John Startcher are running it into the ground. Every one of Jason’s ideas fail miserably and result in additional layoffs to makeup for his mistakes.

Pros

Great resource to learn and explore Tableau

Cons

They have no idea of managing "work from home" employees. No proper guidance or coaching from senior management. Unlimited PTO is a complete eye wash( The perk doesnt exist). If you take more than 3 weeks of vacation time, they will fire you. Even it is for medical reasons, they will still fire you without Mercy. Such a irony for a hospital with "Mercy" in their name, act so merciless. I regret my decision of taking the position at the first place. They had major layoffs in September and forced their employee to sign NDA to keep it hush.
