Pros

I’ve found that the leadership and ownership of this company genuinely cares about their employees. I’ve seen it time and time again where decisions are made that has the employees best interests at the forefront. Looking forward to what 2026 will bring.

Cons

It is a competitive industry with a lot of competition. Bond must continue to focus on the employee first to stay in front of the pack.

Pros

- Your in-clinic team will be amazing if you are under the right management - Weekend lunch - Monthly transit and parking coverage

Cons

It’s truly astonishing how a company can be the worst and every year, find new ways to top it. Let’s start with what this company promises: Virtual support, and screening calls to prevent in clinic burnout (nonexistent, they fired them all) Support with travel certificates that are tied to your licenses as a veterinarian (also nonexistent, they fired that entire team) Work life balance: (also nonexistent, you will be burned out and treated poorly by in clinic management, and upper management because they don’t see you as people. They see you as numbers. Growth and training: If you make a single mistake in any position, you will be wrongfully terminated by the director of Human Resources, and will fire you if you hold her accountable in any capacity. Here’s what this company actually does: Invest money in relief doctors and nurses, but treats their full time employees horribly. Expect clinic mangers to be “yes men”, and if you aren’t the favorite by your regional, they will set you up to fail every time. Retaliate against you for giving helpful feedback in any capacity. Your concerns will never be heard, nor will this company have compassion for the people they hire. You are simply just a number to them, not a person. They will carefully hire the wrong regional, every time. You will deal with the most cut throat and unhelpful people who are incompetent and will set you up to be wrongfully terminated, regardless of how hard you work or how well your clinic is performing. The lay off and turnover rate is astronomical. They also will not promote within or give any raises. If you want to work at a company where: - The environment is toxic and cliquey company wide - Only people who actually do their job are held accountable - Doctors can be disrespectful and get people fired for no reason regardless of complaints against them - Human Resources is made up of unprofessional people who are driven by protecting their ego and love to play god - Their company values mean nothing. They don’t want you to be empowered because you will be fired. They don’t communicate clearly in any capacity. They don’t work as a team, it’s every person for themselves. They aren’t obsessed with pets, they only care about how much money they can get from you and how much their doctors add on for unnecessary diagnostics. - You thrive in a toxic and unhealthy environment - You literally never see your clinic managers and if you do, it’s because they aren’t the regionals favorite - And finally, you absolutely love love love being treated poorly by people who are mediocre in performance, low in trust and in a position of power. THIS is the company for you!!!

Pros

The team demonstrates consistent professionalism, a strong desire to learn, and a clear commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Cons

It feels like the CEO, Joe , is gradually changing what used to be a great, inclusive environment. Instead of treating everyone equally, leadership is now creating a divide by offering higher-level staff a more attractive healthcare plan while those of us who earn less receive a less appealing option. I don’t understand why he feels he can group me (or anyone else) in and decide which plan I should prefer. He’s clearly looking at this from a business standpoint, which I understand, but the lack of equal treatment tells me everything I need to know about a person. It also seems like staff numbers are slowly being reduced. This year we lost our remote center, and it leaves us worried about what might come next.

Bond Vet Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns, healthcare benefits are personal, and we're sorry that the recent changes left you feeling unsettled. These decisions are not made by any one individual, including the CEO. Bond Vet is guided by a doctor-led leadership team, and benefit design is informed by employee feedback, benchmarking, and what supports our people best. Our goal is never to create division, but to ensure that every team member has access to coverage that works for them and their families. A few clarifications that may be helpful: All employees can now choose between: • a lower-deductible, higher-premium medical plan • a higher-deductible, lower-premium plan We reopened these options for everyone based directly on employee feedback. We are proud that Bond Vet is one of the only veterinary companies to offer a $0-premium medical plan, specifically designed to ensure nurses and support staff, who play an essential role in our clinics, have affordable access to care. This approach is meant to expand access, not to limit it. We continuously review benefits to balance fairness, sustainability, and what our teams have told us they value most. We appreciate you speaking up, open dialogue helps us improve. Bond Vet succeeds because of the dedication of our people, and supporting your well-being will always remain a priority. In addition, over the past year, we’ve invested in tools and training designed to better support our clinicians and clinic teams, including advanced scheduling systems, inventory management platforms, AI-assisted scribing, and virtual reality training for skill development. We also continue to have a dedicated group of 35 virtual team members supporting clinics and clients daily, and we regularly review market pay to ensure compensation is fair and competitive. While these updates sometimes require adjustments in how we work, our goal is always to make clinics more efficient, supportive, and able to provide the best care for pets and their families. We appreciate your input. - The Bond Vet Team
